“Pearls Before Swine” by Stephan Pastis

This comic strip is definitely one of my favorites and it continues to improve. The Halloween stuff has been particularly funny and todays Sunday strip prompted me to put out a little link love. I think the characters probably get funnier as you get to know them. This and Dilbert are the only strips I read on a daily basis.

I’m tempted to copy the strip strip here, before it leaves the archives but for a comic strip that would probably extend beyond the scope of fair use.

Pearls Before Swine can be read for free every day here.

I agree, Pearls rocks! It’s one of the few newspaper strips worth reading these days. Twas a big inspiration for me, too.

To my surprise your strips are actually rather funny! I’m not too keen on computer based drawing generally, but you have an interesting style. But the jokes are good, which seems to be the main thing missing from most strips. Good luck with syndication.

Thanks for your kind words ^_~

I’ve already tried getting syndicated and have a nice collection of rejection slips, but so did Mr. Pastis, and it worked out for him eventually. I’m mostly trying to branch out on my own (which is hard, heh) but if, of coarse, a syndicate wants to pick me up… I’ll definitely jump on that bandwagon.
